 Most PV power plants use silicon-based solar modules, which are very sensitive to temperature.

Dust accumulation on the module surface increases the heat transfer resistance of PV modules and becomes an insulation layer on PV modules, affecting heat dissipation. 


There are three main steps in the cleaning process.

1. First clean the floating dust on the module surface with a soft cloth or chicken feather duster. 
2. Then clean the surface of the component carefully with water.
3. Finally, use a soft cloth to absorb the floating water on the surface.

First, pay attention to the timing of dust removal from the PV plant. When dusting, try to avoid the best working hours of the PV power plant. Photovoltaic power station in high temperature, strong light has high voltage, high current. A little carelessness will cause electric shock injury to the cleaner, and may also damage the components.
It is recommended to clean the components in the early morning and late evening, because during this period, the PV plant works less efficiently and generates less power, reducing the risk of cleaning.
In addition, dusting during this time avoids the shading of the modules caused by the cleaner.
When cleaning the glass surface of PV modules, it is recommended to use a soft brush and mild water.
Use a small amount of cleaning power to avoid damaging the glass surface. For modules with coated glass, take care to avoid damaging the glass layer.
